Music in Lisboa

Lisboa is a city full of rich and diverse culture, by simply walking down the streets you will notice the different cuisines, shops, and stalls, art, historical sights, and music!

Our interns have been appreciating the music culture within Lisboa, from Samba, music originating from Brazil, and enjoying the street entertainers that can be found at the Miradouros. Here are a few of their highlights!

Samba- Titanic Sur Mer

On a Sunday night, you can enjoy the vibrant, lively, upbeat sound of Samba at Titanic Sur Mer. The atmosphere is contagious and will have you dancing and smiling all night. The live band full of percussive instruments, guitars, and singing of course are centered in the middle of the venue, with the crowd dancing away around them. There is a huge influence of Brazillian culture in the city and we love it!

Nucleo A70

On a Wednesday night, you can head to Nucleo A70 for a Jam Session, the night begins with an artist or band and is followed by a Jam session where anyone can jump up and play together. It’s a great place to hear new music and appreciate how much musical talent there is in Lisbon!

Boa Vista Social Club

A beautiful restaurant and bar located in Barrio Alto, this venue is a great place to catch up with friends and try out their delicious wine menu. The bar has an incredible vinyl record collection, with different DJs playing each night, from jazzy vibes to house!
